What is this?

Kurzgesagt – In a Nutshell (previously Kurzgesagt) is a Munich-based YouTube channel producing animated educational videos. First founded by Phillipp Dettmer in 2013, the channel has now amassed over 2.9 million subscribers. Their videos are uploaded around once a month and revolve around different political, philosophical and scientific subjects such as the Big Bang and the Refugee Crisis. Their videos also usually contain ducks and many references to pop cultures, such as references to Doctor Who and Pokémon. Kurzgesagt uses a visual format of presenting information, such as color-coding immune system cells to show their functions. Their videos are usually 5-10 minutes long. (Source: WiKi)

Why should you care?

“The best people in advertising have a paintbox that is filled with more than merely advertising. If you only read about advertising, you will go blind.” – Martin Weigel, Why you should not read blogs like this.

But of course, either you do not have the time or the brain capacity to understand philosophy and quantum computers at the same time, watching short clips might be enough. Learning new things through cartoons is refreshing, and fun. So try one:
